Michael Sowa, CAIA, is currently the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at TIAA Wealth Management Chief Investment Office, where they lead asset allocation guidance and investment strategy. Previously, they served as Vice President of Investment Research at Envestnet, Inc., managing investment selections for global equities from 2007 to 2011, and held various roles at TIAA from 2011 to 2020, focusing on active and passive investment management. Prior to TIAA, Michael was a Senior Investment Analyst at National Planning Holdings and an Analyst at Lipper. They are also pursuing a Master of Science in Finance and Investments at the University of Edinburgh Business School, a program that began in 2005.
