Robert Marshall

Robert Marshall serves as the Lead Equity Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at TIAA since March 2014, where responsibilities include managing the large-cap core equity sleeve for the wealth management business and overseeing a team of four analysts, with a focus on the Information Technology and Communications Services sectors. Prior to TIAA, Robert held positions including Senior Equity Analyst at Davenport & Company LLC, where a focus on basic industries research generated superior alpha, and Equity Portfolio Manager at Eagle Asset Management, collaborating on large-cap blend domestic equity products. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Equity Analyst at Wachovia Securities, where accolades in investment performance were achieved, along with positions at Huberman & Riley and Technology Funding with a focus on equity research and venture capital. Robert holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University.
