Scott Thomas has 26 years of legal experience with a focus on corporate, securities regulatory, insurance regulatory, and asset-based finance matters across various industries, including financial services and medicine. Since May 2018, Scott has served as the Senior Director and Associate General Counsel in TIAA Product & Distribution Law. Prior to this role, Scott provided legal support within TIAA's Asset Management Division for 11 years, leading efforts on SEC registration filings and offering legal advice on a range of products and operations. Scott began their legal career at multiple AmLaw 100 law firms, cultivating expertise in corporate and securities law. Scott earned a Juris Doctor degree from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
