Tibetfoods, co-founded by the Tibetan couple Wangdue Dorjee & Tsering Dekey, is dedicated to showcasing the rich heritage of Tibetan and Himalayan superfoods to a global audience. Despite the forced exile of many Tibetans to India following China's occupation of Tibet, our culture, particularly our culinary traditions, has thrived in new environments. While popular Tibetan dishes like momo and thukpa have gained recognition in Indian markets, there remains a gap in promoting the healthier aspects of our food culture. With Tibetfoods, we aim to bridge this gap by highlighting the nutritious and wholesome elements of our culinary heritage, which have been cherished for millennia.
