Katie Smith

Katie Smith is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with extensive experience in systems development and project management. Currently serving as a Systems and Projects Accountant at Ticker since March 2023, Katie previously held various roles at Ageas UK from June 2011 to March 2023, including Systems Development Lead, where leadership of a development team and finance support for business projects were key responsibilities. Prior positions at Ageas UK involved developing TM1 solutions and implementing new products on the finance system as a Senior Project Accountant. Katie began their career at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, progressing through roles such as Financial Analyst and Expense Analyst, and gained initial management experience as a Shift Manager at JD Wetherspoons. Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing and IT from The Open University.
