Nipun Iyer

Nipun Iyer has had a diverse work experience since 2013. Nipun began their career as an Intern at Maruti Suzuki India Limited where they programmed a PIC microcontroller in C to perform comparison operations on different voltages on multiple pins and automated the headlight level detection process in the Assembly lines at MSIL, improving time efficiency by over 500% and removing the possibility of human errors. In 2015, they became a System Engineer Intern at SONYC where they customized linux OS to minimize disk space usage while containing necessary packages, wrote shell scripts to set up audio sensing devices with the OS and cloning required repositories, and developed Python scripts to automate the process of this setup and increasing time efficiency by more than 50 times. In 2016, they became a Programmer Analyst at Vaandu LLC. In 2017, they joined 1Ticket.com as a Staff Engineer where they architected and developed scalable solutions on Amazon Web Services for various applications aimed at ticket brokers in the ticketing industry. Nipun also wrote an application integrating various marketplaces to the broker customers and developed APIs to sync broker inventory with marketplaces and Point of Sales (POS) in real time. In 2021, they joined Ticket Evolution as a Principal Software Architect and Staff Engineer.

Nipun Iyer has a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from New York University, which they obtained in 2016. Nipun also has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology, which they obtained in 2014. In addition, they hold an AWS Certified Developer Associate certification from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in July 2017.
