Brian Smith

Brian Smith is a Principal Engineer focusing on Kubernetes Infrastructure at Ticketmaster, where they actively contribute to the development of scalable cloud-native and on-prem platforms. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Engineering at Malachiarts from 2017 to 2023 and held the position of Director of Site Reliability Engineering at YP from 2015 to 2017. Brian’s career also includes a significant tenure at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Software Systems Engineer from 2002 to 2015. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles, in 2007.
