Matthew Ticehurst

Matthew Ticehurst has extensive experience in the financial industry. Matthew currently serves as the Head of ETD Trading and Risk at Tickmill since 2019. Previously, they worked at GFI Group as the Head of Desk for Financial Futures and Options, where they successfully launched a new broking desk and oversaw recruitment processes. Matthew also held the position of Director of Cross Asset Sales at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, where they managed a global execution desk and collaborated with software engineers to enhance trading platforms. Before that, they worked as an Institutional Futures and Options Dealer at MF Global and as a Risk Consultant at SunGard. Matthew Ticehurst began their career as a Proprietary Futures Trader at Refco Trading Services Limited and later served as a Team Leader at Perpetual Limited.

Matthew Ticehurst completed a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) from the CQF Institute in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters of Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia in 2005. In 2013, they also completed a certificate course in Introduction to Programming with C from the City, University of London.
