Daniel Schmidt is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in research, portfolio management, and trading. Currently serving as the Head of Research at Tickup since August 2025, Daniel previously worked at Allianz Global Investors from September 2018 to June 2025, where responsibilities included managing portfolios focused on global macroeconomic trends and serving as a portfolio analyst with expertise in global bonds, private credit, and multi-asset strategies. Earlier in Daniel's career, trading and analyzing petrochemicals were key roles at HELM AG from October 2012 to September 2017. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Energy, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School and a Bachelor of Science from HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration.
