Michael began their career in the USAF as a Staff Sergeant in Explosive Ordnance Disposal from 1999 to 2010, and later held roles at McFarlane Manufacturing Co Inc, where they focused on production and safety management. They earned a graduate degree in Explosive Ordnance/Bomb Disposal from NAVSCOLEOD in 2009.
