Michelle Zhang

Michelle Zhang is a software engineer at TidalWave since August 2023, with prior experience as a data science intern at CertiK from June to September 2022. Michelle served as a research assistant at the Prosody and Speech Dynamics Lab at Northwestern University from January to September 2022, where responsibilities included labeling and analyzing speech samples and gaining proficiency in using Praat for linguistic analysis. Previous experience includes a machine learning internship at FreeWheel in June 2020, where Michelle trained a classification model utilizing XGBoost and began working with convolutional neural networks using Python TensorFlow and Amazon SageMaker. Michelle holds a degree from Northwestern University (2019-2023) and completed the IB Diploma at Dulwich College Beijing (2013-2019).
