Ash Vincent

Ash Vincent has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Most recently, Ash was the Head of Product & Platform Security at Tide, where they were responsible for building and leading the Product Security function. They managed the bug bounty program and made decisions on awarding bounties based on CVSS ratings. Prior to that, Ash worked as a Senior Devops Engineer at Tide.

Before joining Tide, Ash worked at Eggplant as a Lead Developer/Devops, where they provided technical leadership within an agile cross-discipline team for the Real Customer Insights product. Ash transitioned to Eggplant when they acquired the NCC Group Web Performance division.

Ash also gained valuable experience at NCC Group, where they worked as a Senior Application Developer within the Web Performance division. They were brought in to rescue a complex backend PHP project and successfully improved its codebase.

Earlier in their career, Ash worked at Core Learning Services Ltd as a Lead Software Developer, managing the migration of a classic ASP system to an MVC design. They also provided training and support to the in-house technical team and acted as the primary point of contact for an external development company.

Ash started their career as a Software Developer and Systems Administrator at Course Source Ltd, where they primarily worked on the in-house Learning Management System. They also took on the responsibility of managing LAMP Application and Windows 2003 Content servers.

Additionally, Ash gained experience as a Software Developer at Web Page Software, where they provided bespoke solutions for clients and worked closely with graphic design companies.

Ash Vincent attended The University of Salford from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a Diploma of Higher Education in Physics.
