Ivan Kozhirug

Ivan Kozhirug has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Ivan is currently working at Tide as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Tide from August 2020 to August 2022.

Before joining Tide, Ivan worked at Glitnor Group as a Principal Software Engineer from July 2018 to July 2020. In this role, they acted as an informal Tech Lead for the core backend Casino Platform called "Billfold." Ivan containerized "Billfold" using Docker and the HashiCorp Stack, and created CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. Ivan also worked on the Glitnor "Middleware," which consists of more than 30 microservices.

Ivan's work experience also includes a stint as a Developer & Partner at a Stealth Startup company from November 2017 to June 2018.

Prior to that, they worked at Cayetano Gaming, starting as a Java Developer from October 2012 to May 2014. Ivan then became a Senior Java Developer from May 2014 to November 2015, and eventually a Java Team Lead from November 2015 to October 2017.

Ivan's early experience includes working at Grafixoft Ltd. as a Software Developer from September 2010 to October 2012.

Ivan Kozhirug obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Software Technology at the same university from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Ivan obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.org in May 2015.
