James Garrington has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. James started their career as a Market Researcher at Voluntas, where they consistently met strict targets and was promoted to Quality Assessor. In this role, they designed new benchmarks that significantly improved the business's overall pass rate.

Following their time at Voluntas, James worked as a Desk Based Sales Agent at BT Local Business Birmingham To Hereford. James then transitioned into copywriting roles, working as a Freelance Copywriter for KIQ Music and The Content Ninja.

In 2018, James joined Spark44 as a Content QA and Content Author, where they were responsible for ensuring the quality of content. James also worked as a Freelance Copywriter for Tide in the same year.

James then moved into marketing roles, first as a Content Assistant at CU Coventry, where they led successful marketing initiatives and supported the implementation of a Salesforce/Marketing Cloud solution. James then became a Marketing Coordinator at Vanti, where they led content marketing strategy, reported on monthly successes, and built strong relationships for content production purposes.

Most recently, James has been working at Darktrace as an Email Marketing Executive, responsible for executing email marketing campaigns. And as of March 2023, they are currently the CRM Manager at Tide.

James Garrington obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Birmingham between 2013 and 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Literature & Culture at the same university from 2016 to 2017.
