Jim Walker

Jim Walker began their work experience as a PhD Student at the University of Nottingham in August 2010. Jim completed their PhD in August 2014 and then worked as a Consultant at Deloitte UK from September 2014 to January 2015. Jim then joined Capital One as a Java Software Engineer in January 2015 and transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer in July 2017. Jim worked at Capital One until September 2021. Currently, Jim is employed at Tide as a Senior Software Engineer. Jim started in September 2021 and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer 3 in July 2022.

Jim Walker obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence from the University of Nottingham. Jim pursued further education at the same institution and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.
