Philip Barlow has a diverse work experience in various roles, starting from 2010 to 2019. Philip began their career as an IT Helpdesk Coordinator at Computacenter, diagnosing and resolving software and hardware faults for a major building society. Philip then joined Truphone as a Helpdesk Analyst, where they diagnosed consumer faults for a VoIP App on multiple platforms and devices.

In 2016, Philip moved to Reevoo as a Senior Operations and Support Analyst. Their responsibilities involved handling and resolving issues for a SAAS platform that provides impartially moderated and vetted product reviews on client websites.

In 2019, Philip shifted their focus to application support, working at Smartodds as an Application Support Analyst. Their role involved monitoring services and applications, querying databases, and using monitoring tools to identify issues with back-end servers and processes.

Currently, Philip is working at Tide as a Production Support Engineer. Their tasks include diagnosing and resolving issues within the production environment of a challenger bank. Philip also utilizes knowledge of databases and scripting languages like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Python to automate tasks.

Philip Barlow attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1998 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Urban Studies with a field of study in Human Geography. Additionally, in July 2009, they obtained a certification in Comptia A+ from CompTIA.
