Richard then joined Archer Young as an Account Executive before moving to DSG International as a Senior Marketing Executive, specializing in B2B marketing.

In 2005, Richard joined Bourne Leisure as a Campaign Manager, responsible for planning and implementing B2C retention marketing campaigns. Richard successfully managed a Direct Marketing budget of £2.7 million, ensuring consistent unit costs despite material price rises. Richard also supervised and trained a Marketing Assistant, resulting in their promotion within 10 months.
