Sumit Sharma

Sumit Sharma has a comprehensive work experience in the field of product design and web development. Sumit started their career as a Web Designer at TaxiVaxi in 2016, where they redesigned the corporate Employee App and improved the user experience for administrators to easily place and find travel bookings. Sumit also enhanced the corporate booking workflow, making it easier to onboard new clients.

In 2018, Sumit joined Paytm as a UI Developer. Here, they focused on redesigning the Analytics feature on the dashboard for real-time transactions and success rates. Sumit also implemented a Style guide/Design System, reducing their Turnaround Time (TAT) and improving collaboration across multiple teams in the Paytm domain. Sumit implemented CSS methodologies and an Atomic CSS framework, further streamlining development processes.

In 2021, Sumit moved to Jupiter as a Senior Product Designer, leading the design for the Design System called "Europa". Sumit built an automatic tokenization system using Figma tokens and style dictionary, and implemented the Design System using the Atomic Design methodology. Sumit also played a key role in designing the "Search" feature for the Jupiter App, drafting a framework for its functionality and appearance. Their contributions included enriching components throughout multiple Jupiter journeys, resulting in increased CSAT/NPS scores. Additionally, they designed and built Email templates to reduce TAT organization-wide.

Currently, Sumit works at Tide as a Senior Product Designer, starting in 2023.

Sumit Sharma obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computers from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, completing their education from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Sumit Sharma has obtained certifications in User Experience: The Beginner's Guide and Human-Computer Interaction - HCI from The Interaction Design Foundation in April 2021 and March 2021, respectively. Sumit Sharma also holds a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certificate are not provided.
