Suraj R

Suraj R has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Suraj is currently employed at Tide as a Threat Detection Engineer since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tide as an Associate Threat Detection Engineer from December 2021 to January 2023. Before joining Tide, Suraj worked at CDAC as a Project Engineer from August 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining network functionalities and designing methodologies for VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) in the organization. Suraj also gained experience with open-source cloud solutions and worked with ELK tools for security-related data analysis. Suraj started their career at Prompt InfoTech Coimbatore as a Cyber Security Trainee from May 2018 to August 2019 where they studied network administration concepts and conducted basic penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.

Suraj R attended SVS College of Engineering from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science. Prior to their college education, Suraj completed their Intermediate degree at St. Raphael's Cathedral school. Additionally, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in December 2021.
