Peter Polit

Peter Polit has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Peter is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Engineering and Product at Tidel, where they are responsible for directing all aspects of R&D, Engineering Development, and Product and Project Management. Prior to this, Peter held the position of Vice President and General Manager at SiriusXM, overseeing Connected Vehicle Product Management and Strategy & Partnerships. Here, they delivered innovative Connected Vehicle solutions to vehicle manufacturers worldwide. Before joining SiriusXM, Peter served as the Vice President of North American Programs at Technicolor, delivering state-of-the-art video and broadband infrastructure for the Connected Home division. Peter has also worked as a Principal Technology Valuation Analyst at Pellegrino & Associates, CTO and VP of Engineering at Cine-tal Systems, and General Manager at Thomson, where they directed the satellite and cable modem business units. Peter has a strong engineering background and has made significant contributions in areas such as digital video and image compression and processing.

Peter Polit has an extensive education history. In 1985, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, also at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Peter went on to complete their MBA, with an emphasis on Finance and Management, from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business between 1992 and 1996. In 2018, they received a certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
