The Tidemark Theatre is a 467-seat Art Deco performing arts venue located in the heart of downtown Campbell River, British Columbia, on the traditional unceded territory of the Ligwiłda’xw people, including the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations. We are operated by the non-profit Tidemark Theatre Society.

Built in 1968 as the Van Isle Theatre, The Tidemark is a community theatre and a vibrant cultural hub that presents performing, visual, and media arts, while also supporting local talent, touring artists, and community events. From concerts and theatre productions to film screenings, festivals, rentals, and special events, the Tidemark brings people together through shared experiences and live performance.

As one of Campbell River’s most recognizable heritage buildings, the Tidemark is committed to preserving its history while continually evolving to meet the needs of a growing community. With a focus on accessibility, collaboration, and downtown revitalization, we strive to create a welcoming space where everyone can connect, celebrate, and be inspired.
