David E. Darling

David E. Darling has been with Tidewater for over 20 years, and is currently serving as their EVP & COO.

David began their career in human resources, working first for R & B Inc. from 1999-2000, then DSC Logistics from 1996-1999. In January of 2000, they made the move to Tidewater Marine, where they served as both Human Resources Manager and Operations Manager until their promotion to EVP - Chief Operating Officer in January of 2005.

In their current role as EVP & COO, David partners with Tidewater's leadership team to develop an effective organization with the proper performance goals to ensure achievement of business objectives. David has transformed HR at Tidewater into a strong, high-performing team by implementing industry best practices, developing people, and organizing the function.

David E. Darling has a MS in Human Resources and Labor Relations from New York Institute of Technology and a BS in Human Resources Management from Brenau University. David also has Advanced Human Resources Certification from the University of Michigan.
