Derek Leiper

Derek Leiper is an experienced professional in the field of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management, currently serving as the Regional QHSE Manager at Tidewater since March 2024. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of HSEQ Manager at Fletcher from September 2022 to March 2024 and served as QHSE Manager at Vroon for over thirteen years, from January 2009 to September 2022. Derek's career began as a Safety Officer at Nomis Shipping Ltd between May 2007 and January 2009, following an earlier role as Second Officer at Gulfmark Offshore from September 1998 to May 2007. Derek's formal education includes training at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies from 2002 to 2003.
