Lawrence Jackson has extensive work experience in the field of quality engineering and software development. Lawrence has held various roles in different companies. Lawrence started their career as a Mining Engineer in Crystallex, AMAX, Cambior, Cyprus in 1986 and continued in this role until 1999. In 2000, they began working as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Qpass, where they stayed until 2003. Lawrence then joined Microsoft in 2004 as an SDET and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Lawrence worked as an SDET at Business Intelligence Associates, Inc. (BIA). Lawrence then joined Insight Global in 2010 as an SDET and remained there until 2015. After that, they worked as an SDET at AIM Consulting Group from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Lawrence holds the position of Lead Quality Engineer at Tideworks Technology since 2016.

Lawrence Jackson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, obtained from 1980 to 1985. Lawrence also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Rock Mechanics from Imperial College London, earned between 1985 and 1986. In 1998 and 1999, they pursued a C++ Programming Certificate at Bellevue College, with a focus on Computer Science. From 2015, Lawrence attended the University of Washington and received an Android Certificate. Additionally, they hold several certifications related to software development and APIs, obtained in 2023 from LinkedIn.
