Chris Ding

Chris Ding has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Chris started their career as a QA Engineer at NZ Trade Group in 2019 and worked there until 2020. Chris then joined Bitcoin.com as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were responsible for testing microservices, creating test frameworks, monitoring test runs, and investigating user issues. In 2021, Chris worked at SmartNews as a Software Engineer in Test, focusing on iOS testing, web end-to-end testing, documentation, knowledge sharing, and conducting technical interviews. Most recently, they joined Toptal as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in 2022 and is currently working at TIER IV as a Software Engineer in Test. Chris has demonstrated skills in various testing tools and frameworks, documentation, and collaboration with development teams.

Chris Ding obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Auckland between 2015 and 2018. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the ISTQB® Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in August 2020 and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 certification from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services in August 2021.
