Daisuke Tanaka

Daisuke Tanaka began their work experience in 2003 at IBM, where they served in various roles such as Business Solution Advisor and Project Manager. During this time, they analyzed supply chain management systems and implemented new logistics systems for clients like Toyota. Daisuke also successfully managed a project with a large team of engineers.

In 2011, Tanaka worked as a Supply Chain Management Intern at Amazon Japan, where they improved forecasting accuracy and built an inventory forecasting model. Daisuke also worked as a Summer Associate at PRTM Management Consultants, designing new organizational structures and performance evaluation frameworks for clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

Starting in 2012, Tanaka joined McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner, where they served clients in the Energy and Advanced industry sectors. Daisuke worked on projects related to operational excellence, organizational transformation, and growth strategy.

In 2018, Tanaka assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer at Tier IV, Inc, where they oversaw global business strategies, project and product management, branding and external communication, government relations, and strategic partnerships. Daisuke also held the position of Executive Officer at The Autoware Foundation and served as an auditor for administration and organizational management.

Daisuke Tanaka obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Public Law from The University of Tokyo between 1998 and 2003. Daisuke later pursued further education and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Analytics from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business during the period of 2010 to 2012.
