Jose Simon

Jose Simon has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles.

Jose started their career at Alcatel Cable, where they worked in the Finance Controller and Treasury departments, handling various functions such as credit management and industrial monitoring. Jose then moved on to Nexans Iberia, where they served as the CFO for Spain and was responsible for restructuring the financial department and managing the sale of a factory.

After that, Jose joined B3 Cable Solutions as a Finance Manager, where they implemented a new ownership integration and adapted the financial model. Jose also played a significant role in negotiations with the Collective Agreement and participated in continuous improvement projects.

Jose then worked as a Finance Manager at Edscha, primarily focusing on restructuring the financial department and monitoring the implementation of a Continuous Improvement Plan.

Following their time at Edscha, Jose joined Propenor & Grupo Heras as a Finance Manager, overseeing the financial operations of Grupo Cobo, a hydrocarbon sector conglomerate.

In 2017, Jose became the Finance Manager and CFO of Grupo Empresarial FAED, where they managed multiple companies within the group and contributed to their financial success.

Most recently, Jose has been serving as the Director Financiero - CFO at TierraTech, overseeing the financial operations of the TierraTech Group and its subsidiaries in various countries.

Jose Simon completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Controlling at EAE Business School from 2018 to 2019. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Economia de la Empresa from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they studied between 1990 and 1996. In 2004, they also pursued a Post Grade course in Leadership & Management at Euroforum Escorial.
