Dalila Capasso has a strong academic and research background in biotechnology and genomics, having completed a Laurea magistrale in Medical Biotechnology with top honors and a Laurea triennale in Health Biotechnology, both from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Experience includes a role as a studente tirocinante at CEINGE Biotecnologie Avanzate, focusing on PARP1 polymorphisms in neuroblastoma patients. Subsequently, Dalila served as a PhD student in Genomic and Experimental Medicine at Fondazione Telethon, researching non-coding RNAs in the context of Inherited Retinal Degenerations. This work included a guest PhD position at Radboudumc, where a novel sequencing pipeline was developed to enhance diagnostic rates in patients. Currently, Dalila is a postdoctoral researcher at Tigem, continuing contributions to the field.
