Basu Chinivar's work experience begins in 2014 as an intern at Sequel Consulting India, where they worked on lossless compression of JPEG images for feature extraction using self-organizing maps. In 2014, they also started working as a Software Engineer at Capgemini, where they contributed to the development of a big data analytics platform called IV3, including data ingestion and testing on different Hadoop distributions.

In 2018, Chinivar joined Innovative Software Engineering (ISE) as a Software Engineer, working on web development using the Django framework and building a website that queried a Postgres database for real-time report generation. They also worked on big data analytics through a 55-stage pipeline and data cleansing tasks.

Since 2019, Chinivar has been working at Tiger Analytics. They started as a Data Engineer, involved in tasks such as data ingestion and parsing XML files. They then progressed to the role of Senior Data Engineer, where they contributed to various data engineering projects. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Data Engineer at Tiger Analytics.

Basu Chinivar holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University, which was obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from SJB Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Basu has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Data Science: Data to Insights" course from MIT Professional Education. Lastly, in 2014, they earned the "L1" certification from IGATE.
