Antony Guinard

Antony Guinard has a diverse work experience. Antony started their career in 2006 as an IT Support Engineer at Pfizer. In 2008, they began working as a Software Testing and Mobile Application Development at Technologies for Embedded Computing (TEC) Centre. Antony also worked as a Postgraduate Research Student and Software Developer at NIMBUS Centre for Embedded Systems Research. In 2011, they began working as a Lecturer (part-time) at Cork Institute of Technology. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at Pilz Ireland in various roles, including Principal Software Development Engineer, Team Lead, Senior Software Development Engineer, and Software Development Engineer. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tigera, where they are responsible for developing and managing security and observability platforms.

Antony Guinard has a strong educational background. Antony obtained a Master of Engineering (by research) in Electronic Engineering from Munster Technological University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc (Honnors) in Software Development and Computer Networking from Munster Technological University in 2008. Antony also holds an Equi. of Higher Cert in Telecommunications and Networking from Lannion Institue of Technology (France) which they obtained in 2006. Additionally, they have a certification in Accelerated Introduction to C++ from Pluralsight.
