Patrick Ghidel has nine years of work experience. Patrick started as a QA Engineer at Waterford Institute in 2006. In 2008, they moved to Saguaro Print where they worked as a Customer Support Engineer providing Level 2 Support by email and phone, as well as Support to French speaking customers. In 2013, they joined VMware as a Network Virtualization Engineer, then moved to a Core Networking Support Engineer role, and finally to a Technical Support Engineer role. Most recently, in 2022, Patrick Ghidel joined Tigera as a Customer Success Engineer.

Patrick Ghidel attended Universitatea “Tibiscus” din Timișoara from 2007 to 2009, where they studied IT. Patrick has obtained several certifications, including a VMware Certified Professional 6 - Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV) in May 2020, a VCAP 5.5 - DCA in September 2016, a VCAP 5.5 - DCD in August 2016, a VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization in April 2016, a VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization in September 2015, and a CCNA from Cisco in November 2020. Patrick is also working towards obtaining a VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization Deployment, a VMware Certified Implementation Expert 6 – Data Center Virtualization, and a VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV).
