Steve Gao

Steve Gao has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Steve began at Universal Payment Interface Corporation in 2011 as a Senior Developer, where they designed and built a mobile payments platform called PayPhoneApp. Steve then joined Blast Radius as a Developer and later as a Senior Developer, where they developed enterprise rich internet applications for clients such as Nintendo, Nike, EA, and Cox Communications. Steve then moved on to INDOCHINO as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in building a next-generation on-demand manufacturing system and scaling production architecture. Steve continued their career at ZenHub and Axiom Zen, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Polygot Engineer, respectively. At Wiivv, they worked as a Senior Cloud Engineer and made significant contributions to the development of their API platform, admin portal app, reporting infrastructure, and shipping automation. Steve also worked at CTO.ai and Hack Capital as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Problem Solver, respectively. Currently, they are working at Tigera as a Software Engineering Manager.

Steve Gao completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University in the years 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Steve has obtained certifications as an ATG Certified Platform Developer from ATG and as a Sitecore Certified Developer from Sitecore, although the specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
