Dadong Wang has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Dadong began their career as a Teaching Assistant at UC Merced from August 2011 to December 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher, where they made significant contributions to non-Fourier heat transfer modeling and analysis, including developing a high accuracy model and an algorithm solver that improved simulation speed.
In 2016, Dadong joined TigerGraph as a Software Engineer. Dadong played a key role in developing an ETL data process pipeline for a large dataset, as well as implementing a graph algorithm for data analysis that greatly improved performance. Dadong also designed and implemented the backend server for the Glive management system, integrating it with Kafka message queue and MySQL. During their time at TigerGraph, they demonstrated their ability to simplify processes by aggregating multiple installation steps into one command for the GraphSQL platform.
Recently, Dadong was promoted to Engineering Manager at TigerGraph, starting in October 2020, where they continue to contribute to the company's success.
Dadong Wang has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced. Dadong studied at this institution from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, where they attended from 2006 to 2010.
