Jeff Herbst

Jeff Herbst is a seasoned venture capital professional with over 30 years of experience in operational roles, business development, and mergers and acquisitions. As the Co-Founding Managing Partner of GFT Ventures since July 2021, Herbst leverages extensive expertise in strategic partnerships and venture investments. Current board positions include roles at Qortex, Switchboard Software, TigerGraph, MicroVision, Mars Auto, and Mperativ, alongside advisory roles at SK hynix and Artisight. Prior to GFT Ventures, Herbst served as Vice President of Business Development and Head of Nvidia Inception GPU Ventures at NVIDIA, where responsibilities included the strategic business development function for the leading AI and visual computing company. Jeff Herbst holds a B.S. with Honors in Computer Science from Brown University and a J.D. from Stanford University.
