Jonathan Herke

Jonathan Herke has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Jonathan has recently worked at TigerGraph, starting in December 2019 as a Technology Evangelist and then progressing to the role of Manager of Developer Relations in December 2020. Jonathan is currently serving as the Head of Developer Relations at TigerGraph since October 2022.

In 2022, Jonathan joined DevNetwork as a member of the Advisory Board, where they focus on content curation, judging industry DEVIES Awards, and hackathons.

Jonathan is also the Founder of Futurist Academy since April 2018. This role involves creating a community that nurtures the growth of the next generation of futurists by exploring and applying emerging technologies.

Additionally, Jonathan has worked as a Strategic Advisor at Jumpstart from July 2020 to December 2021, providing strategic guidance to the company.

Before transitioning to the technology industry, Jonathan gained experience at UnitedHealth Group. Jonathan held various roles at the company, including Sr. Software Engineer from February 2018 to December 2019, IT Project Consultant from August 2016 to February 2018, Marketing and Communications Specialist from December 2015 to August 2016, Entrepreneur in Residence from February 2015 to December 2015, Enterprise Security Project Manager from June 2014 to February 2015, and LANWAN Networking Engineer from January 2014 to June 2014.

Prior to that, Jonathan was the Founder of FringeSource from July 2015 to July 2016.

Jonathan also served in the Army National Guard as a Computer Networking Specialist from December 2007 to December 2015.

Lastly, Jonathan held the role of Student Supervisor at Minnesota State University, Mankato from November 2010 to November 2013 and interned as a Data Center Network Engineering Intern at UnitedHealth Group from May 2013 to September 2013.

Jonathan Herke attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology. Jonathan'sfield of study included Systems Engineering, Database, Application Development, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager.

In addition to their degree, Jonathan has obtained several certifications. In 2008, they received a Secret Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense. Jonathan also obtained a Security+ certification from CompTIA in July 2010.

Jonathan further enhanced their skillset by obtaining a Google AdWords Certification from Google AdWords Certified in January 2016. Most recently, in April 2020, they completed GSQL 101 certification from TigerGraph.
