Liangde Li has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering, teaching, and research. Currently working as a Software Engineer - Core Engine at TigerGraph since July 2022, Liangde Li is responsible for developing and enhancing the core engine of the software. Prior to this role, Liangde Li served as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant at UC San Diego from January 2021 to June 2022. In these roles, Liangde Li provided support to professors in conducting classes and assisted in various research projects. Additionally, Liangde Li has prior experience with UNSW Sydney RoboCup, where they were a part of the rUNSWift Robot Soccer Team from March 2017 to May 2020. In this role, Liangde Li contributed to the development and performance of the robot soccer team.
Liangde Li completed their Senior High School education in Science at The No.1 Middle School Affiliated To Central China Normal University from 2011 to 2014. Following this, from 2014 to 2014, they attended Renmin University of China, where they pursued studies in Finance and French, although no degree was specified.
In 2015, Liangde Li enrolled at UNSW, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (first-class honours) and a Bachelor of Science (with distinction) in Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science, which they completed in 2020.
Liangde then pursued further education at UC San Diego, where they completed their Master of Science - MS degree in Computer Science from 2020 to 2022.
Aside from their formal education, Liangde Li also obtained the Certified TigerGraph Associate Exam certification from TigerGraph in July 2022.
