Cong Ye

Cong Ye currently serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at TikTok since October 2024. Previous experience includes a role as Machine Learning Engineer and later as Machine Learning Tech Lead at Suning USA from April 2018 to August 2019, where responsibilities involved leading the development of machine learning models for the Merchant Scam Detection System. Additionally, Cong Ye acted as an instructor at Suning University, providing advanced training on deep learning techniques for fraud detection. Earlier experience includes serving as a Statistical Consultant at the University of Pittsburgh Statistics Consulting Center, assisting faculty and students with experimental design and data analysis. Cong Ye holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Wuhan University, a Master’s Degree in Statistics, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh.
