Evy Lu

Evy (Xiaoyue) Lu is a Senior Product Designer at TikTok, leading design initiatives focused on Ads Privacy, Search Ads, and third-party integrations since June 2020. Prior to this, Evy served as a Product Designer at TikTok, where responsibilities included designing APIs for business developers and marketing partners. Evy's earlier experience includes an internship at Cheetah Mobile, where feedback collection and strategy iteration contributed to user retention efforts and live-stream quality improvements. As a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, Evy conducted research on inequality in media under Dr. Stacy Smith, focusing on content analysis over five years. Evy holds a Master's degree in Communication Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, both from the University of Southern California.
