Josh Rector

Josh Rector is an accomplished Cyber Security Engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the cybersecurity field. At TikTok, Josh focused on enhancing security posture and managing tools for security assessments as part of the US Data Security team. Prior to this, Josh held positions at edX as a Lead Cyber Security Instructor, where guidance was provided to over 135 students in a cyber security bootcamp, and at the University of California, Davis, leading the Vulnerability Management Program. Josh's earlier experience includes serving as an Information Security Analyst, IT Lead, and IT Help Desk support, along with roles at Jumbo CD Investments, Inc. and MacResource Computers, Inc. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Liberty University.
