Mia Soviero is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Research Girl, launched in April 2024, dedicated to providing free resources and support for STEM and pre-med students, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Content Creator for TikTok since August 2020, Mia produces educational videos focused on neuroscience and psychology, along with a neuroscience cooking show called "Brain Food." Experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Columbia University's Zuckerman Mind Brain and Behavior Institute and at NYU Langone Health, where Mia engaged in memory and migraine research, respectively. Additional background includes experiences as a Basic Skills Instructor at Rockville Ice Arena and a Clinical Observer in the neurosurgical department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Mia is currently pursuing degrees at Barnard College and Columbia University, alongside certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from Code One.
