Tim Klaws is an experienced professional in government relations and public policy, currently serving as the Director of Government Relations and Public Policy for DACH, Israel, and BeNeLux at TikTok since September 2023. Prior roles include Head of Government Relations and Public Policy for the Netherlands and an interim position for Southern Europe. Previously, Tim held the position of Head of Public Affairs for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at Booking.com and served as Head of Public Policy and Government Relations for DACH & CEE at Airbnb. Tim's career also includes leadership roles in public policy at arvato Bertelsmann and Telefónica Germany. Education includes a First State Examination in Law and a Second State Examination in Law from Heidelberg University and Kammergericht Berlin, respectively.
