Paul is a software engineer with a background in population and single-cell genomics. Prior to joining TileDB, Paul worked as a bioinformatician with the Satija and Lappalainen labs at the New York Genome Center, where he helped build tools for analyzing long-read sequencing data and served as the maintainer and lead developer of the R package Seurat. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
