Joe Barber

Joe Barber has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joe started their career as a Systems Engineer at Microsoft in 2002, where they gained valuable experience in building servers and networking. Joe then joined American Express in 2004 as a Programmer Analyst, working on projects related to charge cards and finance. In 2006, Joe became a Software Developer at Data 4 Travel, where they developed back-end software for holiday and cruise websites. Joe later worked as a Web Developer/Partner at Clear Forward Ltd, specializing in travel websites and whitelabel rebrands. Joe then joined LEO Learning in 2011 as a contractor and was offered a full-time Lead Developer role in 2012. At LEO Learning, they delivered projects for clients such as KPMG, Marriott, and Volkswagen Group. Most recently, Joe serves as an Engineering Manager at Tillo starting from 2017.

Joe Barber obtained a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bath between the years 2000 and 2004. Following that, they pursued an MSc in Information Technology for E-Commerce at the University of Sussex from 2004 to 2006.
