Andy Prouty

Andy Prouty has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades.

Andy started their career in 1993 as a Programmer/Analyst at RedPrairie. Andy then progressed through various roles at the company including Supervisor of Software Engineering, Manager of Software Engineering, Director of Product Development, and eventually became the Senior Director of Product Development.

In 2012, Andy joined Sony Network Entertainment Int'l (SNEI) as a Sr. Manager of Engineering. Andy worked in this role until 2015.

Since 2015, Andy has been working at Tillster, Inc. as the Senior Director of Software Engineering. In this position, they are responsible for defining platform architecture strategy and roadmap for the company's digital consumer technology landscape.

Throughout their career, Andy has gained expertise in technology leadership, project management, functional design, and DevOps.

Andy Prouty attended Hesperia High School from 1984 to 1988 and graduated as the top student in a class of 400+. Andy then went on to UC San Diego, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Science from 1988 to 1991. Following that, they pursued another Bachelor's degree, this time in Computer Science, from UC San Diego from 1991 to 1993.

In 2013, Andy Prouty enrolled at San Diego State University and completed an Advanced Certificate in Web and Mobile Applications Development in 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Andy Prouty obtained various qualifications from different institutions. In 2011, they received the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance®. In 2014, they earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance® and the SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Furthermore, Andy Prouty obtained the Certified Incident Responder certification in 2020 and the Incident Responder Certification in 2021, both from PagerDuty. Andy also has certifications in Puppet Fundamentals and the Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SAFe Agilist or SA), but the specific dates and institutions for these certifications are not provided.
