Tom Velarde

Tom Velarde is an experienced project manager with a strong background in program management and team leadership across various industries. Currently serving as Project Manager in the Program Management Office at Tillys since June 2020, Tom has successfully managed cross-functional teams for Ecommerce, Finance, Fraud Prevention, Store Operations, and Warehouse operations, implementing key projects such as the Drop Ship program integration and the re-launch of Same Day Delivery. Prior to Tillys, Tom worked as a Project Manager Consultant at TechSystems and held a long tenure at Autoweb, Inc., leading enhancements for consumer websites and IT infrastructure. Tom's earlier roles include managing loan origination systems at Ameriquest Mortgage Corporation and serving as Senior Technology Manager at Bank of America, overseeing the development of commercial loan servicing systems. Tom holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
