David Hopkinson

David Hopkinson is an Independent Director at Tilray. David was previously the Vice President Asset Management at Valour Capital Management Inc. from December 2019 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for directing the Asset and Operational teams on existing projects as well as sourcing potential new acquisitions for the Private REIT - District REIT. Prior to this, David was the Vice President at foreGrowth Inc. from October 2016 to November 2018. David has also held the position of Managing Partner at Claxton Capital Management Inc. from May 2012 to September 2016 and VP Investment Management at Bentall Real Estate Services from April 2010 to May 2012. David began their career as a Managing Consultant at Schengen International from May 2008 to May 2010.

David Hopkinson has a MSc. in Land Management and Development from the University of Reading as well as a BA Hons in Urban Development from Western University. David is also certified from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in MRICS.
