Vedantha Kumar

Vedantha Kumar is a climate strategist and leader focused on sustainable agriculture and land use. Currently overseeing a ~$150 million grants portfolio at CIFF, they also hold governance roles at various organizations, including a culture/climate NGO and Brazil's largest climate regranter. Vedantha is part of the inaugural cohort at Worldshapers, developing a book on the link between animal agriculture and climate change, and serves as the Senior Director of Programmes at Tilt Collective. With a commitment to social justice and a background in music, Vedantha has also been a policy fellow at the University of Cambridge, where they earned a First Class degree in Philosophy.
