Tim studied International Tourism Management at NHL Stenden University across the Netherlands, Bali, and Thailand. He spent six years as a Lufthansa flight attendant, where hundreds of flights and countless time zones made the physical toll of constant travel impossible to ignore, planting the seeds for his later focus on recovery.

In 2020 he founded Tim Kroeger Media LLC and launched several digital platforms. In 2023 he co-founded Latitude 12 LLC, building Bangkok Insiders and other niche properties.

After a decade of nonstop travel, Tim shifted focus from destinations to restoration. The Restorative Index scores hotels across six dimensions — sleep architecture, environmental calm, nutrition, bioregulation, movement, and operational ease — measuring what actually delivers recovery for the high-performing traveler.
