Thomas Zhang

Thomas Zhang is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer at Laurel since May 2018, specializing in the design and maintenance of microservices using technologies such as NestJS, NodeJS, and MongoDB. While at Laurel, Thomas has developed billing system integrations and interfaced with clients on integration needs. Prior experience includes a Full Stack Software Engineer role at Ping, where Thomas led various application designs and managed cloud infrastructure. Additionally, Thomas served as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, where critical teaching contributions were made. Earlier experience also includes a software engineering role at Time by Ping, playing a vital part in developing the MVP product.
