Melanie Ng is currently the Marketing Lead (Integrated Marketing) at TikTok Shop, starting in 2025. Previously, they held significant roles at TIME dotCom Berhad, including Head of Performance & Insights, Head of Planning & Insights, and Head of Brand, as well as serving as Marketing Manager at Lufthansa from 2011 to 2012. Melanie began their career as a Trainee/Broadcast Journalist at 8TV before progressing to a Senior Account Director at Dentsu Aegis Network from 2012 to 2018. They earned a Bachelor of Mass Communication in Broadcasting with First Class Honours from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman between 2006 and 2008. Melanie also worked as a Freelance Translator at Medi-Lan Ltd in 2008-2009 and was involved in brand management at ntv7 Media Prima Berhad from 2009 to 2011.
